Various vintage hobby horses rest inside a wagon. They're in a state of disrepair, with chipped and pealing paint. In the background is what looks like a rummage sale, stretched out over a lawn.

Different sizes and kinds of rims and hubcaps lying on the ground in the packed dirt. Some with tiny spokes, others with big spokes and some just flat, but all shiny.

A rundown, abandoned factory with multiple, several story, combined buildings (some seemingly tan brick with others white frame) and silver silos. There’s a smattering of graffiti and lots of dilapidation. On the smaller structures, the accent colors are blue, maroon and pale orange. There’s a water tower behind it all and it echoes its color scheme. Overhead are white, roiling, fluffy clouds in the dazzling blue sky.

Day 5: Book

King is my favorite author (The Stand is 🥰) and this old shot reminds me of all his work.

A tin warehouse sits abandoned in a parking lot sparsely covered with fall leaves. Trees (with some dead limbs) are at one end and almost the entire structure is covered in graffiti. The building is two story, with two windows and a door, and the roof is rusted.

A square, dark, ornate frame with gilding holds an antique, splotched mirror. It leans against a light green, brick background. You see sheetrock and something blue and white striped in the reflection, and yellowish insulation in the foreground to the left.

Three white, wood and stained glass, French doors lie propped up against a metal building. The panes are white, turquoise and black. A fourth door on the far right is made of brown l, distressed wood and the molding separates the top from the bottom. All are in various states of peeling. The wall of the building is grooved, as is the metal overhang. It is also made in the form of an alternating V, first right side up and then upside down. It's held up by a thin, white metal column. There's a sun dappled sidewalk underneath it all, but has some scattered bits of stained glass at the bottom. There's also a single white round globe light at the upper corner above the brown door.

A vibrant outdoor produce stand, viewed through a wire mesh fence. The stand is made of wooden planks and contains multiple small baskets filled with fresh fruits and vegetables. Some of the visible produce includes red and green tomatoes, yellow squash, jalapeños, and what looks like pecans or another type of nut. There are also packaged goods, possibly sauces or oils, placed toward the back. The warm sunlight highlights the natural textures and colors of the produce, giving the image a rustic, farm-fresh feel.

A large roadside sign (one used to promote something for a business, like $2 tacos) made to look like a flag. It's extremely dirty and rusty, and a full-length arrow sits atop facing right. There's small round white lights on that portion and the starred area is partially covered by what looks to have been a second, smaller sign, but it's too faded to know what it says behind a word that ends in "E" and "TO." It's in front of a telephone pole and sits dried out, dead grass for the most part. There's some shrubbery in the distance.
