In Grinks & Co., everyone speaks the same language, but Davik's home culture greets with "Met in peace."
In Prophecies, Jorang's home culture introduces themselves with their own name and then their parents' names. Calderan dwarves greet by saying only each other's names and ranks.

Greetings, #MayWorldbuilders! How do your characters introduce themselves in their languages? If you're done a full conlang, tell me how they say it in that language. If it's just translated English, are there other fun aspects about an introduction? Do they shake hands or share pronouns?

It won't be until the following chapter that Davik and Taraltos start kissing and stuff, but there's plenty of foreshadowing.

“Maybe you could lead us there?” Laylee suggested, stepping behind him and letting her gaze drift to his ass. “You clearly know your way around a forest.” “Yeah, I see a lot of advantages with having you lead,” Grinks nodded, ogling Davik’s ass more blatantly. Taraltos did, too, and murmured agreement.

A digitally drawn comic of Canderous, Carth, Revan and Bastila sitting in a cantina. Canderous is sitting across a table from the other three. He's saying "so, after you've gotten the codes, you come back here and we'll make our way over to Davik's estate." following up with "Any questions?" Digital comic of Carth, Revan and Bastila sitting together. Revan is looking at Bastila, she's whispering to him "don't". Revan then asks "Do you like men?" Bastila covers her face and Carth whispers "focus".

Taraltos startled and put out a hand. “Don’t look at its eyes!” he shouted - a moment too late. “What?” Davik stepped back from the dead beast. “Oh, hello, sir. Met in peace.” He reached out and shook Taraltos’ reluctant hand. “Damn it! I should have said something sooner!” “Wait, what’s wrong with him?” Laylee took Davik’s hand, looking in his eyes. “Are you all right?” Davik looked down at their hands with confusion. “Nothing’s wrong. I feel fine. Um, may I ask why you’re holding my hand, miss? Not that I mind.” “These damn things are blind, but looking into their eyes makes you lose your memory,” Taraltos explained, and Laylee’s eyes filled with alarm. “I’m so sorry.” Davik’s eyebrows rose. “I’ve lost my memory? That … would explain a lot.” He glanced around the forest clearing, and at the three people with him; his eyes suddenly widened. “Oh gods, I don’t remember *anything*.”

Grinks loves getting roughed up by people she trusts, in lots of ways, and she loves being held down/tied up.
Laylee is on a journey of overcoming sexual shame, and finds that exhibitionism is her favorite way to celebrate it.
Davik's powerful sense of smell makes him revel in his lovers' scents.

Grinks and Davik both make requests the first time they have sex. Discussion of consent and safety is essential! Grinks' safeword is one she used before with Taraltos. Also, she's half Davik's height.

“Oooh, the nerve of that Taraltos!” Grinks huffed, standing up on the trunk to face Davik with her fists on her hips. “He only smacked me on the ass once! You can’t get a girl’s hopes up like that and then just stop!” “How shameful,” Davik agreed, feeling his own cock getting firm all over again as he looked Grinks’ tight little body up and down. “Someone should show him how to treat you the way you deserve.” “I knew I liked you,” she grinned, and kissed him. The feel of his firm lips against hers and his strong hands running from her shoulders to her calves made her moan into his mouth immediately; it was interesting - in all the right ways - that he and Taraltos were both such good kissers, but so different from each other. She leaned her head back. “Just don’t be too gentle with me, okay? I like spanking and choking and stuff. I mean, if you’re comfortable with that.” “Safeword?” Davik smiled, squeezing her ass with both hands. Grinks smiled back and kissed him again. “How about ‘I surrender’?”

Along with being sexy, the minstrel in chapter 6 of Grinks & Co. really is a preternaturally good musician. Davik, with his finely honed senses, is able to appreciate her skill even more than the average listener.

#WriteSky #WritingPrompts #WritingCommunity #writingprompt #amwriting
“Ooh, nice!” Grinks chirped, as the minstrel began to play in earnest. The music rolled over the barroom, lively and strong, sounding like summer sunshine reflected in a shared glass of wine. It danced in Davik’s ears, revealing the subtlest of its nuances in ways that an ordinary listener could never hear, and his heart raced with delight and admiration. He and his friends hardly noticed that they’d stopped drinking and simply let themselves be caught up in the lively music that warmed their hearts like no drink ever could.

Grinks the goblin gets to do two of her favorite things: turning her friends on, and breaking and entering.

“You said now isn’t the time to start fucking,” Davik reminded Grinks. “Maybe we just imagined that,” Laylee suggested, admiring both Davik’s and Taraltos’ growing erections, along with their cause. “She did say it an awfully long time ago,” Taraltos added. “Unless getting naked is necessary for climbing?” Grinks stretched her arms over her proud, compact body, then turned around and touched her toes, reveling in the attention it got her. “Clothes can get caught on things, less weight is always good, and it’ll make it easier to fit through those windows. But also, I’ll never pass up a chance to show off a little.” She had to admit, her friends’ appreciative stares were starting to turn her on, too. But it still wasn’t the time, as disappointing as that was. She took the end of rope in her sharp little teeth and started climbing. Her delicate, well-trained fingers and toes found purchase in the smallest of irregularities in the wall’s surface, and she shimmied up at a speed that surprised everyone but her. Hugging the masonry as close as possible helped keep her secure, but she nearly let herself shiver a few times when her nipples brushed against the stone.

Hugging the masonry as close as possible helped keep her secure, but she nearly let herself shiver a few times when her nipples brushed against the stone. “Showoff!” Laylee called up good-naturedly as Grinks raised her leg sideways. The goblin laughed through the rope in her teeth, and wiggled her ass to add to the show. She’d be lying if she said she wasn’t having fun teasing the others; she was also enjoying the feel of her pussy spreading open for them, and her asshole tightening around the shiny steel plug, every time she reached for a toehold. Then she gave herself a mental kick - she was busy, and getting distracted would not be helpful.

“Oh, fuck, that’s good!” Laylee wailed. She rested her head on the table, gently pushing the back of Shancy’s head as the Songbird’s talented tongue swirled in a dance that felt like the thrill of dreams achieved, underlined by the steady beat of Davik’s thrusts. Laylee opened her eyes and smiled up at Davik, admiring his handsome face as he fucked Shancy; he smiled back at her through the effort and pleasure, gladly watching the faun’s tits bounce every time he shoved his cock into the minstrel. And then Laylee noticed Grinks and Taraltos cuddling and admiring her, and her heart sang for her friends to see her unashamed reveling. She raised her head and bit her lip, then scooted backward along the table as she beckoned them over. By the time they reached her, Laylee’s head was hanging over the side of the table and Taraltos didn’t need any explanation of what she wanted. He brought his semi-erect cock close to her face, and Laylee - still moaning from Shancy’s sweet attentions - happily lifted it to her mouth; her tongue ran down his shaft from his glans to his balls, delighting in her first taste of Grinks’ cunt juices, and Taraltos’ dick began hardening again immediately.

“Mmmm, fuck,” she mumbled, her hands clutching Davik’s head. “Yeah, keep going! Fuck …” He began slowly pumping his fingers in and out of her dripping pussy. With one hand still kneading her quivering ass, he sucked her clit between his lips as he thrust into her a little harder, a little faster. Listening to the music of her mewling moans, he moved his fingertips in circles inside her, then curled his fingers toward himself one after the other, then pressed them both into her rough inner wall and held them there as he sucked. He could feel her legs shaking harder and harder, until … “Fuck! I can’t do this!” Laylee cried, putting her hands on his shoulders. Davik pulled away without hesitation, but with significant regret. “I’m sorry, is something -” Laylee sank to the grassy forest floor and immediately lay on her back, lifting her legs up and spreading them wide. “I can’t stay standing like that. Keep going! Like this!”

He was on the eighty-fifth floor of a megahousing building on reconstructed Taris after abseiling from the roof to this balcony.
