It’s a 27km loop with an option to do 3 laps, which my stupid ass is definitely going to go for. I usually ride a fairly intense 30km pretty much every day when it is not wintering out.

I speak from experience, the absolutely best place to drive if you have the use of an Aston Martin is inside a tunnel. They should clear all that particle accellerator gubbins out of CERN and just let you drive round inside a 27km underground underground ring all day.

Just signed up for a 27km run through the Snowy Mountains in February. A little scared but mostly excited.
It’s 10km further than I’ve run before, and it’s a trail run, and I’m currently not allowed to run, but I’m trusting I’ll be okay by then and it should be a lovely day in the sun in any case.

It's been a minute! On this lovely bank holiday Saturday morning, I was out for 2.75 hours, covering 27km/17 miles. It seems time of day matters when it comes to the bugs. I went by the same reservoir, but there were hardly any. And I noticed more near the end of my ride.
