I don't think we'll see a big surge of ICE/BP recruitment. They'll add people, and we should take their funding increase very seriously. But if there was a big pool of willing recruits to draw upon, we probably would've seen evidence of it already.

Just for the record, the thing that tipped off the protests in L.A. that resulted in the legally dubious federalization of the National Guard was officers of Noem’s department, DHS, and probably HSI, harassing daylaborers at a Home Depot without reasonable suspicion. She literally started it.
