Also took the opportunity to dedust the PC as much as I could, I'm not very good at that kind of stuff and my brain usually procrastinates unless absolutely necessary. But I'm kinda glad I was just able to "do it". without a fuss.

Quality computers tend to be designed to be able to stay on, only needing the occasional reboot.
Now if you need to dedust your computer then yes, turn it off. Honestly, excessive dust will kill it before wear and tear.
