I'm so sorry for what you're going through. If you're on FB, there's a really supportive group "Community for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing." They also have a website, DeafandHoH.com. If you want to learn ASL, the Oklahoma School for the Deaf offers two free online courses, courses.osd.k12.ok.us.
