Everything DEATHBYSHEEP releases is gold!

UPDATE: deathbysheep has been visiting me every day since then 😭

Not that anyone asked, but I am really in a bit of a (new and old) psychedelic cumbia phase. Amantes del Futuro is amazing. Also Tribilin Sound, Lascivio Bohemia, and Isidro Cuevas/Willy Cabañas. It's not quite cumbia but the DEATHBYSHEEP 100% Chingón mixtape series also lives up to its name.

This snuck up on me, which is amazing when you consider its a recording of sonideros yelling CHANGA over cracked PA rebajada beats. Break YOUR lease today!

Whoops, meant to drop the first volume. deathbysheep.com/album/100-ch...

Sonideros are the combination DJ/hype men playing cumbias through PAs anywhere there’s a large Mexican population. Here’s 4 sides of these wonderful maniacs whooping and dropping incredibly goofy samples over remixes. Instant party. The cheladas are on me. deathbysheep.com/album/100-ch...

Y'all there is a fourth edition of these just got released and anyone who has ever DJ'ed on the radio NEEDS these. Anyone who loves cumbia NEEDS these. Anyone from a city with any sort of Mexican population already gets it, but you need it too. deathbysheeprecords.bandcamp.com/album/100-ch...

Extinction Event - BFRS

I got to see these two live in Portland and even have a VHS tape from the show, very underrated artists!
