“Deathonomics”: a system in which a soldier who enlists, serves, and dies brings his family more money than the average Russian earns over a working life — turning death into the most “economically efficient” use of a human life.

What is the future of Putin's "deathonomics" that has allowed Kremlin to keep the number of volunteers high, avoid mobilization and desensitize Russian society towards the war in Ukraine?

Trump is trying to broker a peace deal with the leader and the country that wants to keep the war going.

Instead of applying pressure, he offered handshakes.

It’s unworkable by design. And Ukrainians pay in blood to buy Trump time to grasp that.

Since it was introduced the costs of maintaining deathonomics quadrupled. And the steady flow of new soldiers make Russian army continue to go with blunt tactics like "meat assaults" not carrying all that much about the lives of these soldiers.

It is unclear what would be chosen but we safely say that: «deathonomics» has given the Kremlin the ability to prolong the war without substantial internal resistance.
And create a global image of nation with "endless resources" and capacity to war indefinitely

Vladislav Inosemtsev explains, why Putin's "deathonomics", that is, one can earn more money with oneself's death than with a lifetime of work, is not sustainable. Not generally, but because Putin isn't eager to cut the losses and "take the profits".
