#witchmadness a superstition I personally follow is to leave a cemetery on a different path than I entered. I do a lot of spirit work, but I'm not looking to take any home with me. In addition, a self-made observance is that I always walk the cemetery grounds barefoot. #spiritwork #deathwork

He is still first and foremost a thaumaturge at heart, especially as that relates to the deathwork side of the Ul’dahn lineage he’s trained in. He’d much rather be attending a deathbed vigil or performing a funeral than having to be the reason someone would need one in the first place.

I really enjoyed seeing this thread on Twitter after DT came out last year! The character I play leans heavily into the deathwork side of thaumaturge lore, and all of these things were really at the front of my mind while playing through the story too. Thank you for reposting this here!

I explain that deathwork covers a MASSIVE cross section of activities of daily living. That all the things that make up a life make up the process of dying. Grocery run can be deathwork. Walking the dog. Walking the caregivers. Cleaning. Listening. Just being together. The list is endless.

Getting my law license active; bc I think my formal time in the academy is coming to a close. I don't want to fight to be among people who would rather see me dead, who lack the courage to fight against the deathwork of law, who would rather use me as marketable property. I want to live and free.

Being high on shrooms while on antidepressants is interesting. No cool visuals. Still sensory though. Emotional too. Seriously considering getting into deathwork I was not just screaming on the internet.
