The die roll happens before you pick cards. High roll weakens the enemy all round, low roll armors them up. I used to slam my best card first and hope. Now I read the result, then decide if this turn is for damage or just surviving to the next one.

It's become one of my favorite board games of all time, so I'm a bit biased.

But if you like the sound of a 2-4 player co-op campaign game, with good narrative and strategic play, a neat solarpunk sci fi setting, and some deckbuilding elements, I'd highly recommend it!

Grats on the release! Next Fest introduced me to this and I've been eagerly awaiting the full game since. Love the presentation, especially the music and the palette (and yes, the anthro characters, haha). Also probably one of the most interesting spins on deckbuilding (or deckshedding?) I've seen!

oh oh also this reminds me, I want to run an OKORINA tournament sometime where everyone has to be Daeg, and everyone has the same corp ID replacement (haven't worked out what just yet) and use the Highlander IDs for deckbuilding
