Today is set to be an historic day: the decriminalisation of abortion in England and Wales. No more women questioned and criminalised for exercising our human right to bodily integrity.

Hey, here's the author of this piece, Susanna Rustin, opposing abortion decriminalisation.

Don't pretend she's any sort of feminist.

Given that both Boris Johnson and Michael Gove confessed to cocaine use, the co-ordinated string of Tweets from Tory frontbenchers attacking Sadiq Khan's entirely sensible call for cannabis decriminalisation are the height of hypocrisy

Muslims voting for a female plumber, in a party led by a gay Jewish guy, who ran on policies and talking points like decriminalisation, abolishing the monarchy and ensuring justice comes for the bloodshed in the holy land. Does not get much better.

It’s absolutely shameful and shocking to see high profile women calling themselves feminists, writing screeds about how women who have late term abortions will “kill babies” and that decriminalisation “denies the interests of the baby”.

Calling decriminalisation a “lib fem” issue ffs.

This is absolutely chilling. We need to get decriminalisation done.
A couple of years ago, I started posting that women’s bodily autonomy in the UK was coming under attack whilst feminists were being distracted by transphobes’ bullshit.

And here we are. Here we fucking are. The police issuing guidance on how to bypass the law to get hold of information.
"Police have been issued guidance on how to search women’s homes for abortion drugs and check their phones for menstrual cycle tracking apps after unexpected pregnancy loss"

"...police could bypass legal requirements for a court order to obtain medical records..."

Just 'feminist' Kathleen Stock objecting to the decriminalisation of abortion.

Every single person who ever pretended that 'gender critical' ideology was a form of feminism owes real feminists a damn apology.
‘Gender critical’ transphobes are absolutely NOT ‘feminists’!

Even if they once were, they’ve become totally radicalised into extremist bigotry to a point where they’ve convinced themselves black is white! 😣

I won't be lectured on 'women's rights' by a pundit who said the decriminalisation of abortion "went too far".

My abortion decriminalisation one was debated. Two MPs had proposed different decriminalisation amendments and it allowed extra parliamentary time for debate and showed the strength of public support.
