I want to meet some more of your characters since I am new here.
Describe your characters in three emojis. Are they a WOL or a ffxiv OC?

That said, I am 100000% still cooking on some of the things I wrote over this event. Just not sure if I wanna dig into DeepLor or WoLor. Any request?

A two for one special: one path leads to something outside the lifestream, one path leads to Lor and Bliv fucking nasty. Choose wisely. Enjoy.
ellipsus.com/read/7CK3EBA...
An Ellipsus snippet featuring Lor in a large gown as the background. It reads: It was dark. Warm. Primordial. Something seeping into their consciousness that Lor could easily slip into. Comforting. An embrace they've only ever briefly felt before. 'Make a construct. You'll figure out how.' That's all Sol had said before they'd blinked from the desert-outside-but-inside-the-lifestream. This whole adventure had been unlike anything Lor had been prepared for. Reports of near death experiences and explorations in the lifestream could never have prepared them for the reality of what their own would be like. An Ellipsus snippet featuring Lor holding Bliv as the background. It reads: The height difference between the pair gives Lor the perfect angle to sink him ever deeper into their folds. They wrap their legs about his waist firmly, scooting closer into their lover as he wraps one arm behind their hips for support. His long, white, fluffy prehensile tail comes to wrap around their thigh with a mind of its own. Just the feeling of it squeezing — massaging — their thigh lets Lor know that this is more than just a fun romp. He had been desperate for them, had needed this connection as badly as they did, and now that he was this wrapped up in them, Bliv didn't want to let his lover go until they were both satisfied. A generous and considerate lover as always.

Sept 10 - Upbraiding
#DeepLor - cw: child abuse, misgendering, physical abuse

The night after their mother discovered Lor's horns was the longest, most agonizing night of Lor's life.
ellipsus.com/read/7CK3EBA...
An Ellipsus snippet with Lor in a giant dress as the background. The text reads: "How could you?!" Hauphane hisses as she drags Lor into their bedroom by their arm. Her grip is so tight and forceful, Lor tries to wriggle free of it but that only makes their mother more upset. "Please, maman, you're hurting me." They try to plead in an appeal to Hauphane's desire to never leave a visible mark. Annoyed, their mother releases Lor's arm with a shove, sending the still small Elezen careening into their bedframe. They grab hold of the footboard to keep from toppling over into the mattress. It wouldn't have mattered or made the next volley of attacks easier to withstand.

Lor gathers their Starlight gift for a friend and his family...and learns a little bit more about how Eorzean braille is written

ellipsus.com/read/7CK3EBA...
An Ellipsus snippet that features Lor in a large gown in the background. The text reads: From between the flower and an acorn shaped shelf marker, Gerald takes down three volumes and places them on the counter before Lor. One is a small children's book that features both Eorzean and Night Writing -- its colorful cover features a bevy of native Gridanian and Ishgardian plants. The other two are fully Night Written texts on cross-pollination experiments to create hardier species to survive the Ishgardian cold. Two topics Lor never would have chosen for themself, but these were meant to be gifts. They run their fingers over the raised bumps on the cover. Each letter of the Eorzean alphabet carefully turned into an easily recognizable glyph of raised dots, and though Lor doesn't know every letter by heart, they can follow along enough to know what the cover says. Satisfied that the book on the counter is the one they asked for, they flip the book open to check and make sure everything is as it should be on the inside.

Sept 8 - Strain
#DeepLor - Bjer POV

After his show that evening, Bjer tries to make sense of the letter he received from his dear sibling. The strain of being away from home eats at him.

ellipsus.com/read/7CK3EBA...
A soft aurora colored Ellipsus snippet. It reads: "The seven hells do they mean..." He mutters, reading it over one more time. Even after a fourth pass, things didn't make sense and the way they were writing...Bjer wasn't convinced that Lor wasn't in some kind of danger. Their letter was sappy and emotional, something he rarely saw from them, and it spoke about possible not writing to him for awhile. It stung. Their letters were something he always looked forward to when he was in port. A reminder of home and a way for him to get updates on his father. Besides, if he was being honest, he missed the Elezen that had become a sibling to him. To think that they'd just stop writing, for no apparent reason, was a pain that he didn't want to endure.

A confrontation with a lover that Lor never expected to have. Would it have been better to never learn the truth?

ellipsus.com/read/7CK3EBA...
An Ellipsus snippet with an image of Lor in a large flowing gown as the background. The text reads: "Against their better judgement, they needed to know. Needed to hear the truth from his mouth. All the research they'd done pointed towards Arnkel being the mass terror…but something inside Lor wouldn't let them believe it until he said it. Slowly, Lor raises their gaze from the grass beneath their feet and fixes it on his eyes. Those deep brown, impossibly guarded, eyes they thought they loved. Thought they knew. "You're…the Mad Mite, aren't you?" They don't flinch when they ask it. He takes a slow breath. He could still lie. A shadow moves behind him, unnaturally; long spindly fingers creep through the grass. The voidsent he tried to deny making its presence known."

Sept 6 - Free Day: Implicit
#DeepLor - cw: implied child abuse, misgendering, public humiliation (light)

The first time Lor's mother sees their horns is not the most positive of memories. Their lie had been so carefully constructed until their brother ruins it all.
ellipsus.com/read/7CK3EBA...
An Ellipsus snippet with Lor in a huge gown as the background image. Text overlay reads: "I said stop it." Lor lets go of the right side of the veil to reach back and swat at his hand. They miss. He tugs, harder than last time, and the two pins holding the veil to Lor's hair let go. The royal blue and white cloth catches on their stubby horns as it goes, yanking Lor's head back with it and almost certainly tearing a hole in the garment. Jurice runs off with his prize, trying to keep it just out of reach. Still thinking it was just a game. Lor freezes in their tracks. Their younger brother continues to gloat, as if Jurice can't see the stubby black horns beginning to protrude from amongst their black hair. "Come and get it. Betcha wont."

After wrestling a sabotender into a pot for the Ahimsa garden, Lor takes a second to reflect on their hope to serve and provide healing to the community they've come to love in Ul'dah
ellipsus.com/read/7CK3EBA...
An Ellipsus snippet with a picture of Lor in a huge gown as the background. The text reads: ""You put up a good fight, little one." The sabotender twitches one limb as if still trying to fight, but with nowhere to go it quiets quickly. "Don't fret now, I wont be giving you any reason to worry from now on." If it has an opinion on the matter, it keeps it to itself as the seedkin settles into the new arrangement. "And based on how many needles you put out in our little tussle, I should have more than enough to not need to bother you for awhile." At this, the sabotender slowly flexes one of its arms, striking a dramatic looking pose. Lor laughs at its attempt, leaning up to clap their hands together in appreciation for the little show. It was true what they'd said about the needles. Despite the smaller size of the sabotender, it had put out a surprising amount of needles as it was jostled about. Not anywhere close to the thousands they had heard the seedkin species could shed in a single attack, but at least a few dozen, perhaps even a hundred were embedded in the thick leather..."

Sept 4 - Surge

Making friends with the local elementals of Ul'dah to heal a friend. A curious wind comes to call in response.

ellipsus.com/read/7CK3EBA...
An image of Lor in a huge gown under a dark overlay. White text on top reads: "Something small and curious comes to peek in at them as they inhale again. It drifts in along a current of air and whips itself through Lor's hair, teasing it against the back of their slender neck. They try not to laugh at the sensation. The elemental comes to land on their shoulder, inhabiting a form their mind can easily relate to: a small brown sparrow. Just like all the ones they had ever seen out on the high plains of Thanalan, the bird hops around Lor's shoulder as it takes stock of who had called upon it. Figuring out if they were friend or fiend. Lor doesn't rush the process; trust had to be earned slowly and carefully. On another exhale, their mind reaches out to the small bird on their shoulder in greeting, "Hello, friend." The bird replies in a sing-song repetition. "Hello, friend."

#DeepLor - Bjer POV -

Bjer finds himself stuck waiting for the port registrar to finish searching his shipments when an old friend shows up with a letter from home. Little time to read it though...there's a show to get ready for
ellipsus.com/read/7CK3EBA...
An Ellipsus snippet on a dark rainbow background. The text reads: ""Ah, same as always. Steady. Cain't complain much." Stone peeks over Bjer's shoulder at the registrar digging through the coffee barrels. "Ya headin' back so soon?" "Aye, got what I needed. S'time to head on to Tuliyollal for a spell." "Take it yer not headin' out on the afternoon boat then?" Another curious glance at the registrar. Bjer casts his gaze over his shoulder too only to see the smaller Miqo'te registrar ass over head in a barrel searching for something that isn't there. "Nah," Bjer's tail flicks impatiently again, "got the inspection first…"

In which Lor finds themself somewhere out of time and with too many thoughts. Memories, nightmares, pacts they can't undo.

ellipsus.com/read/7CK3EBA...
An Ellipsus snippet. A picture of Lor is a huge gown is behind the text. The text reads: "What had they come there to find? Did that matter anymore? Memories. It was always about the memories. About facing down what they were sure they'd done. Things they couldn't remember. A pact signed in blood on their father's rug. Chains forged in gold that wrapped around onyx horns made of smoke. Abstractions from nightmares, not clear memories. If they could just remember…then what? What would happen?"
