#Deepfake-Satire-Video
Colorado's first deepfake ad case: a think tank made an AI video of state Sen. Cathy Kipp as a clerk who keeps customers' change, then argued no reasonable person would think it was real. The state's reply, roughly, is that calling it satire doesn't make it funny.

Extra Crazy Deepfakes Chaos 'Appofeniacs' Indie Film Official Trailer
Extra Crazy Deepfakes Chaos 'Appofeniacs' Indie Film Official Trailer
"This is on you!" Magenta Light Studios has revealed the official trailer for an indie film creation known as Appofeniacs, which is the first feature by music video director Chris Marrs Piliero. The title Appofeniacs is a play on the word apophenia, which is the human tendency to see patterns or connections in random things. This film is a dark A.I. horror-satire about the chaos caused by deepfake tech getting out of hand. These stupid videos are everywhere already! As AI-generated deepfakes spread, a group of interconnected people descends into paranoia, blurring the line between reality and AI fabrication, and unleashing violent consequences. "The true horror lies not in the deception, but in what happens when people believe it." Yep. Appofeniacs co-stars Aaron Holliday, Simran Jehani, Paige Searcy, Michael Abbott Jr., Harley Bronwyn, Will Brandt, Jermaine Fowler, Scarlett DeMeo, Chad Addison, along with Sean Gunn. This premiered at FrightFest & Fantastic Fest last year and hits limited theaters in October starting in the fall. FF adds: "He deftly weaves together seemingly disparate story lines, culminating in a shocking finale. Fans of creative, brutal kills, take note: this one features some of the best of the year." It looks extra crazy. // Continue Reading ›

This Global News piece puts my LEGO satire next to a deepfake of Olivia Chow at a podium, and that's the whole conversation. We both used AI. The difference isn't the tool. It's that nobody watching mine could mistake it for real footage.

This is a really cool resource for people who want to submit on a number of important bills in select committee right now. Altho, I'm not a fan of some the suggested amendments to the deepfake bill. Would LOVE to know how an intimate video recording could be parody or satire #nzpol

Creator of viral AI deepfake with Musk, Bezos, and Altman says the best jokes tell the truth
In the video, aged-up versions of Tesla CEO Musk, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos have teamed up to create a new company: Energym, a fictional gym which harvests the energy from laid off humans on stationary bikes and rowing machines to power AI. Hyper-realistic versions of the tech moguls are interviewed in a documentary-style format where they warn of a future of AI-fueled mass unemployment and promote their Matrix-style human battery startup. “By 2030, almost 80% of people had lost their jobs,” said the weathered AI version of Musk. “The less people did physical work, the more they wanted to appear as if they did,” added Altman’s AI double. Jan De Loore, 42, along with his cofounder Hans Buyse, 52, in 2025 started AiCandy, the Belgium-based creative video agency behind the viral spoof. De Loore said the video took off partly because it taps into two major anxieties people have with AI: its potential to take human jobs and its giant energy requirements. “Of course, it’s a joke, but in every good joke, there’s a bottom of truth,” he told Fortune. De Loore said he and Buyse decided to feature Musk, Altman, and Bezos specifically, because,...

Imagine the outrage these same Rightos would have if Biden had posted a similar video, with a crown, pooping on a MAGA NASCAR race? www.politico.com/live-updates...
