AESOP ROCK - Loved all the DefJux stuff at the time, was thinking it sounded a little dated today, but then he said he was "maxxing" and now I've decided it was wild ahead of its time.
The Best Album of 2001 Round 1 Match #5
#33 Aesop Rock, LABOR DAYS
VS.
#96 Tori Amos, STRANGE LITTLE GIRLS

Dangerous Creatures - DEAD EARTH 1.0

Like a douche, I forgot the Lif. I'm glad he's still grabbing mics, too. I also miss DefJux, but I'm glad El-P folded it. So much good art came from it, including RTJ.
Live From The Plantation seems now more pertinent than when it was written.

Growing up listening to early RSE DefJux and Immortal Technique, you remember a lot of what’s going on being talked about back in early 00s. It leaves me numb at times cuz fuck the shit still relevant
