Not how I planned to spend my day but bike lanes* save lives. Plus Doug Ford is a criminal so I went to where he allegedly works to add my voice to the protest.

Me, wearing bike helmet, protective eyewear and a 3M VFlex N95 mask. In behind are hundreds of cyclists with their bicycles and a corner of Queen's Park. Flyer being held in the air with Queen's Park behind it. The flyer has a picture of Premier Doug Ford on it and a quote from him (from 2017) "You're nervous when there's no bike lanes. At least I was. We have to do everything we can to make sure there's never a death in the city. One death is way too many when it comes to bicycle riders" Two protest signs: Cyclists are traffic too. Bikelane bans make you as slow as a bicycle. Sign on lamp post advertising "Bike Lanes Protest" Saturday November 23 at Queen's Park. On the street behind is a mass of cyclists biking up Avenue Road near Bloor.
