This is the guy who lied on the stand at a trial in LA, telling the jury he witnessed the defendant assault the ICE officer, when the video showed the ICE officer assault the defendant. The jury took an hour to acquit. He's referred to immigrants as "filth, trash, and scum."

Sergeant Gonell @sergeantaqgo.bsky.social sent me this picture. This is his call log. Each call is an automated Dept of "Justice" notification saying "The defendant you testified against is being released from the dept of corrections."
Each defendant assaulted him.

Lettuce pray for the defendant, who is in quite a pickle
Defense begins with, “He did it. He threw the sandwich.” Goes on to argue that the throw was “an exclamation mark at the end of a verbal outburst.”

These charges are so stupid. There was an ICE agent **in the elevator** with the defendant after he left the courtroom. But oh yeah, the state judge somehow obstructed ICE because she let the defendant leave the courtroom through a side entrance.

The Trump DOJ is run by morons and thugs.
Seeing claims about the judge "hiding" the defendant. Read the complaint, folks (written by DOJ). The guy was literally in the public area where the agents were. I guess he got on an elevator before they could get to him. The complaint says after letting the defendant exit she came back to the bench

Pam Bondi: “This is a criminal judge sitting on a criminal bench. Anyone who is going to let anyone—any criminal defendant—out a back door is absurd.”

When Trump was a criminal defendant, judges often allowed him to enter and exit court out a back door.

if there's one thing judges love it's an indignant defendant

Justice Alito not only participated in the decision after having a private call with the defendant last week—one where he urged the defendant to hire of one of his clerks, by his account—he voted to excuse the defendant from being sentenced for his crime without explaining why. Isn’t that special?

The defendant picks the judge.
The judge dismisses the case.
The judge, hired by the defendant, then says no jury verdict means no guilt.
The public never sees the evidence.
And everyone pretends that’s normal.
