The corollary to this is that the people who work for insurance companies, especially executives, are also ethically and morally bankrupt. They are cogs in the machine that make it work. They willingly sell their efforts to destroy others.

I honestly think we need to launch a class action lawsuit against insurance companies for fiscal irresponsibility, including fraud, for how they use the premiums paid to them. It appears criminal in practice.

Because what you need may not be profitable or, fates forbid, it might cost them money. Remember: the premiums you pay to insurance companies is no longer your money nor is required to be spent on your needs.

As I grow older, I find my options start to get winnowed down to some basics. I resigned myself to the fact the final option will likely be the only logical choice when I get assailed by too many health conditions despite having health insurance.
