New Enrico paper out about tree ecophysiology!

By synthesizing sap flow and dendrometer measurements, we show that isohydric Douglas fir 🌲 experiences earlier drought-induced declines in stem water status than anisohydric beech 🌳

Along with the heat wave, here comes our new study on tree drought response: Douglas fir vs. Beech 🔥

Results:
🌳 They differ :)
💧 But there is one general pattern: Transpiration & capacitance may decline, but stem rehydration is maintained.
