It's so surreal to wrap up DenFur having completed 30+ commissions. It's helped a lot in realizing that I'm more capable than I give myself credit for and I'm so proud of myself!! 😭

a space deer and a sky bird collaborate onstage, the former on a piano-shaped synth and the latter on a strange grid of illuminated buttons. the deer, sporting a robotic head adorned with LEDs, wears a safety-orange spacesuit; the bird is dressed in all black and conceals their identity with a corvid-shaped mask and hat. the two had worked for many months on curating a dance experience for the attendees, pictured here dancing in the background. the two technologically-inclined creatures attempt to communicate on stage; the corvid gestures "☝️" with their right hand while the deer attempts to interpret the gesture within the context of the performance. on a loud enough stage, much like in space, nobody can hear you scream. a close-up of the corvid-shaped performer with their mysterious light-up button box. astute observers might recognize said box as an Ableton Push 3. the performer's beaked mask extends beyond their face by several inches; a large hat further obscures the identity of the individual. hands in fingerless gloves with technological insignia deftly navigate the 8x8 grid of pads. only the performer's jaw, neck, arms, and fingertips remain unconcealed. even with only these elements visible, there's something about them that seems...familiar. an alternate angle of the bird and the deer performing on stage, each focused intently on their respective musical contributions. might this pairing of animals be seen together on stage again in the future? it seems likely.

Thank you to the artists and vendors from #DenFur26 !! @kresendoe.bsky.social @ambushtoys.bsky.social @terribleanimal.com @incomingtrouble.bsky.social @tansy.bsky.social I tagged everyone I could! Iikoshop doesn't seem to be here, and I don't have info for the patch or vinyl decals unfortunately!
2 spotted hyena vinyl decals, one in sparkly orange and one in dark green, and a lime green sparkly peace sign made with a paw; two gryffin pins by kresendoe, one in orange-yellow and one in blue-green colors; two stickers from Iikoshop, a rainbow shibe on a cloud and two dogs drinking out of a toilet saying 'water inspection (failed)'; a Tramp pin from Iikoshop; a sighthound carrying a torch sticker 'ignite' by terribleanimal; a denim patch with spiked chain links and the ⚧️ symbol from the night market. At the top there are also 3 bone shaped collar tags in black with an orange outline that read yeenmutt/Rhodes. "I got my tdick sucked at the furry convention and all I got was my tdick sucked at the furry convention and also this commemorative pin" by tansey; a teeny halberd in green and a teeny falchion in blue alongside a rainbow lanyard from ambush toys. "I'd rather be a critter right now" over five stick figures, four with human heads and one with a dog head, sticking its tongue out, on a black shirt. By incoming trouble creations

For accepting quest of making this in ~3 months between my full time job while working some OT, I'd say this suit came out really good. It found its home, they'll take flight to their owner very soon!

It was a ton of fun wearing my hippo mask at DenFur, I was always afraid that getting extra attention would overwhelm me and cause me to panic but I learned big that positive attention feels really good and definitely better than none at all. Can't wait for my next con. #denfur #denfur2026 #denfur26

I'm home. Another DenFur has come and gone. This is a con I will never forget, so many great things about it and all these keepsakes too. I want to cry now that it's over, but there's next year and also the new Fox Den Con to think about too. #denfur #denfur2026 #denfur26 #denfur2027 #denfur27

Having a post con dinner with @jamesquacks.bsky.social at McCoy's in North Denver, they got an old cigarette vending machine. Just decorative now, it's against the law to plug it in. Pay phone too, that's legal but also not working. #denfur #denfur2026 #denfur26

A drawing I decided to randomly do while sitting at the coloring table yesterday at #denfur #denfur26. Not my finest work, as I was very limited with crayons

#furry #furries #art #drawing
A piece of computer paper is being held up, on the paper is a drawing of 3 furry characters colored with crayon. On the left is Resh, a blue dragon with yellow-orange eyes, and white and gold colored horns. In the middle is Riley, a cat with cream and brown colored fur, brown hair, and blue eyes. On the right is Duchess, a dog with light and dark gray-green fur, black hair, and green eyes. On the bottom of the drawing is the text "Denfur 2026." There is three heart shaped stickers around them.

What a weekend! Hugs certainly do make this wuffer's world go 'round. Big thanks to everyone I've been running into, saying hello, catching up, seeing new faces. You all make this wuffer's existence feel very special. 🩵🐾

Be good! You got this!

Got one more green T-shirt to wear for the last day of DenFur. I should probably get a fourth one for a longer con. 😅

By the way, I'll be waiting until afternoon before I put my hippo mask on one last time, I find I have to take the chin off to eat.

Man this DenFur has been the best one yet, I feel so complete this year. I have a boyfriend to spend it with, I've impressed people with my latex hippo mask, I have really leveled up.

So whatever you do, don't call me a badger anymore, the beginning has come to pass.
