RIGHTO so here's a thread about Keitai Denju Telefang; basically it's a monster taming game where instead of catching them you get their numbers and literally call them to join a battle

Hoje Keitai Denjū Telefang está fazendo 25 anos! Ele saiu para o GBC no ano de 2000, e acabou ficando famoso de um jeito inusitado: uma versão pirata chamada de Pokemon Diamond/Jade.
Telefang vinha com duas versões, Speed e Power, e contava a história similar a Digimon, mas numa rede de celulares

Hoje Keitai Denjū Telefang está fazendo 25 anos! Ele saiu para o GBC no ano de 2000, e acabou ficando famoso de um jeito inusitado: uma versão pirata chamada de Pokemon Diamond/Jade.

It's weird how people will refuse to watch mecha anime cause clear it is just hype bot and aura battlers. But then only interact with battle shonen on the most surface level possible.

So apparently this game existed before they thought of 4G because having a cell phone with 4 bars means you can go to the Denju world 😭😂

The fighting system is very simple but I like the lil quips the Denju all have when they attack or join a fight

A occidente nos llegó como cartuchos bootleg con el nombre de Pokémon Diamante/Jade (eso igual os suena más)

Possibly an early design by Eishosai Choki, Nakamura Nakazo and probably Ichikawa Yaozo III, roles unidentified but maybe some version of Sugawara Denju Tenarai Kagami, c. 1780s.
