A disclaimer being that the DepthPro encoder looks quite a bit more complicated than just running a single ViT...

For the metric depth it is Metric3Dv2 - "old school". For the "best details relative depth" - that is probably diffusion-based, although DepthPro is also competitive

The only model remotely impressive is DepthPro, used on their now, surprise, discontinued Apple Vision Pro. (huggingface.co/apple/DepthPro)
