I DO THINK.... Birthdays probably just werent a thing with Destane. And given how Moze is... Moze. I don't think he'd know what to do with something as simple as a "happy birthday" tbqh.

Suffice to say, Rapunzel does not think highly of Destane, and she avoids him in the Citadel to the best of her ability. Moze makes sure to keep him away from her, too, I'm sure.

Punz KNOWING about Destane is actually deeply important in Oasis. A lot of the Moonstone Arc is Moze hiding his past from her, & only giving bits and pieces out of an ever growing fear of rejection, esp once he realizes he has feelings for her.

Punz KNOWING about Destane is actually deeply important in Oasis. A lot of the Moonstone Arc is Moze hiding his past from her, & only giving bits and pieces out of an ever growing fear of rejection, esp once he realizes he has feelings for her.

Something I really enjoy about Mozenrath is that he got to where he is on his own, and he's VERY proud of that. His means of getting there may have been bloody (whether or not you believe Destane deserved it), but he DID overthrow him single-handedly and then proceed to become a v real threat.

The BEST PART about Hic and I modeling Alive!Destane after Frollo (mostly) is that Tony Jay was IN a Mozenrath episode, so we've got him saying his name. 10/10
