And not only do you no longer get the benefit of pre-wash detergent when using pods, you're forced to use a pre-determined dose of detergent which is almost certainly way more detergent than you actually need.

The pods are a marketing ploy designed to prevent you from dosing at-will.

If you're trying to cut costs one tiny way is : use less laundry detergent.

The measuring cups that come with detergent encourage us to use too much which is better for companies bottom line but bad for our wallets and our clothes.

You're gonna want to get dedicated measuring spoons

Time to stock up on beans, lentils, rice, spices, evaporated milk, tp, paper towels, laundry detergent, canned vegetables (hate them), cat food and Arizona green tea & gensing.

Oh they just made the size of the loads smaller. It’s magic! I couldn’t been using less detergent the whole time! Imagine that??
