the devaluation of the production of software means that software developers are losing their priestly vestments and their brains are suffering as a result
if software engineering were far more unified as a profession i think it would have approached this type of technology with a great deal more caution; but this is an industry that has promoted devaluation of each other's work as essential (to put it another way: the C-word)
