Fruit of the womb

[ #art #comic #devilboycomic ]
Page 1: Did you know that in the bible the forbidden fruit is never described as an apple? Many other fruits have been hypothesised to be the forbidden fruit I like to think of it as a pomegranate Regardless, it lead to the original sin It's something that my mom has always held up over my head Regardless of what i do, ill always be a sinner Page 2: I think my original sin to her is that i'm evil. There is something inherently evil inside of me.. If i failed at something, it was because of it. If anything bad happened... I was the cause All aspects of my life came together to form evil in all forms Like the seeds in a pomegranate Page 3: But now that she's not in my life anymore Am i still just as evil? I don't think so, but She probably does How can I move on when I can't even understand that? Page 4: I can't understand what's so evil about me What makes me so evil I cannot understand her motives Then how can i find closure?

Noodles

#devilboycomic
page 1: Flashback chapter, takes place some time after Angel Boy and Hexennacht picked Mildew up. Establishing shot of Hex's room, where Hex is gaming and mildew is sleeping in his bed. Mildew wakes up and gets greated by a "morning" followed by a "well, 6pm". Mildew groans Page 2: clutching the pillow, mildew apologizes and tells hex he has to use (heroin) and is sorry. Hex tells him to do it, which surprises him, causing him to start apologizing and telling hex he can say no and appreciates he's letting him stay there, but hex cuts him short and says he's going to make then something to eat. Mildew continues with his reasonings and Hex shuts him off for good. Page 3: short time skip, Mildew now took his hoodie off and has a cup of noodles in his hands. Hex asks him if he feels better and mildew replies with mostly high. Hex tells him to eat and mildew tells him to give him a bit. Mildew again wants to apologize, to which hex explains to him bluntly that his parents were opioid addicts and he doesnt feel like he needs to apologize, which makes mildew apologize again. Page 4: Hex explains her mother got addicted because of an injury and his dad "followed" her. He guesses they really loved each other. He tells mildew it's alright, just to not die on him and tells mildew to eat up. Then he tells mildew he likes him, which shocks him. Mildew is bewildered and asks if they really do, which they bluntly reply with yeah, to which mildew continues to be shocked. Hex says he doesn't care, it is what it is, and Mildew is still lost in it and replies that he does like hex too. Hex tells him to eat his goddamn ramen
