Two activities you can do at Victoria Falls (that I really wish I had a chance to do). 1) bungee Jump between Zimbabwe and Zambia next to the falls and 2) Devils Pool where you swim right to the edge of the falls!

Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-tunya, "the smoke that thunders") from above, the full 1708 meters (5604ft) length. Top is Zambia, bottom is Zimbabwe. With a great rain season, Both countries will do much better this year.

Full length view of Victoria Falls between Zambia and Zimbabwe, with the top of the photo (north) being Zambia and the bottom is Zimbabwe. In the middle is Livingstone Island, where Livingstone the explorer (and a complicated man, who broke open the damn for colonization) realized that the Zambezi River was not a direct shipping outlet to the Indian Ocean. It is spectacular. The opposite side of the falls gets soaking wet from the "smoke" of the water pouring onto that side from the splashing. It is approx 108 meters tall, 354ft. For comparison, Niagara Falls is 57 meters tall. Look up the Devil's Pool. I did that! Yes indeed!

Me laying on my back at the edge of Victoria Falls in the Devil's Pool, Zambia. A perpetual rainbow, and only can do this when the water is low enough. Even get to swim in the Zambezi river, which at this point is not filled with crocodiles. The pool is about 12 feet deep and the edge is about a meter wide.
