The quality floor of new grads has also EVAPORATED in the last five years. We’re talking It Is Grim. I’m sure the big names land (some) quality candidates but juniors and interns I’ve worked with recently needed a lot more technical attention and seemed much less inclined to self-study

Dear UI devlopers/"people". Is there already a term for an update adding a button in place of a previous high traffic area to promote accidentally clicking it out of muscle memory for metrics? Ive been calling it "get down mr president" button placement. Discord nitro, AI buttholes etc

I do sometimes wonder if the creative teams of certain game devlopers are just lying to the CEO's to keep them happy about the AI stuff. Like, "Uh, yes we are totally using AI to make the game. Ha ha 😏" It's a nice thought, but none of these games are out yet so who knows.
