Recently went to the #Dickensfair with my hubs! Added some fresh drybrushing spots to my #selkie pelt, just waiting for new whisker material to come in then will be galumphing on to #furtherconfusion for the beach theme!

From #DickensFair in San Francisco yesterday. I was rather disappointed in the variety at the bookshop. I was looking for some old, beautiful poetry books. All they had was Wordsworth. Tons, and tons, of Wordsworth. Sigh.

So easy to imagine we were in Mélanie and Malcolm Rannoch’s London today at @dickensfair . The series is a bit earlier but it wasn’t hard to imagine the Rannochs among the crowd, sipping tea or stout, or perhaps finding coded papers tucked in the handle of a chimney sweep’s broom. #momswritersclub
