I was 12 when I bought Annie Lennox’s “Diva”, I liked the Eurythmics, and I loved her.
This is one of her most moving performances, with “Into the West” from The Lord of the Rings ‘The Return of the King’ her second.

#DidoHarding please can someone retweet that wonderful photo from an ITU somewhere that had all the staff holding up a paper with their country of birth, a brief pause whilst they saved so many lives. Thank you #NHS staff, you are all so valued by us. #DidosLament #Disgraceful

Surely now is the time for #DidosLament to be trending. A work of utter beauty, before she hurls herself onto the pyre, not before stabbing herself first to be doubly sure. Remember me, remember me, but ah! forget my fate.
