Some game designer was feeling sadistic when he designed Infini Palace 3F. You have to run around the entire level in a big circle 8 times to fully investigate the 8x8 grid of one-way doors in the corner- which turns out to contain NOTHING. 😡 🤜 💥 😵 #digitaldevilstory #jrpg #retrogaming

Interesting thing about Mazurka is that you climb to the top, then go back down to the bottom, but the enemies are sorted by floor. Meaning after you grind through the top levels, the return trip downward is surprisingly easy. #digitaldevilstory #jrpg #retrogaming

Liking #digitaldevilstory, but becoming increasingly impatient with it's screwed-up difficulty curve. Literally every enemy I've encountered in the Marzuka Corridors has hit for 50 damage at least, inflicted conditions, and often attacks in groups of 6 or more. Sheesh... #jrpg #retrogames 🧵

Finally hitting the point of getting some higher-level fusions done. Problem is, they chew through MAG quick. So I'll probably be trading off mapping Sea of Flames with the heavy hitters and grinding easier levels for MAG with good old reliable Chimera. #digitaldevilstory #jrpg #retrogames
