The AI fearmongering is a convenient smokescreen for imposing #digitalimperialism: restrict access, lock users into proprietary platforms, consolidate control over the technology, and turn that control into enormous rents.

If successful, this is amazing & far reaching strategic move. It'll ensure that Canada & the EU won't have to live under the yoke of America's #digitalimperialism & dominance.
