Last afternoon of #PorchKnitting for summer 2025. Finished 3 inches of 1x1 ribbing for the #DignityCap I'm designing.

67° made basking in the sun nice. Birds were birding - geese, corvids, and the mechanical kind taking off from the nearby airport.

Swatchy swatchy colors to set gauge for my next #DignityCap. DK from my mother's stash (bottom) is heavier than more recent yarn like Highland and Marmalade colorways of Jody Long's Alba DK. Curious. Because the older yarn is from Norway and made >15 years ago?
