"High Sign," the Wednesday 27 April 2016 installment of Bill Griffith's Zippy comic strip. "Deep in deepest New Jersey..." Zippy (first panel): "Th' Ding Dong Deli?! Did I die & go to Fantasy Island?" Zippy (second panel): "Wait! Th' road sign proclaims 'Ding Dong Deli'...but th' store sign says 'Ding Dong Dairy!'" Zippy (third & last panel): "...It finally happened...I stumbled upon th' power vortex where processed cheese meets sweet & sour cocktail franks!" "Quantum New Jersey," the Saturday 20 December 2025 installment of Bill Griffith's Zippy comic strip. "YOW!!" Zippy (first panel): "Th' Ding Dong Deli?! Have I at last broken through to th' eleventh dimension?" Zippy (second panel): "Is th' reality of th' Ding Dong Deli curled up inside th' reality of th' Juba Team Realty? & is that curled up inside Newater Systems?" Zippy (third & last panel): "Sigh...I long for th' day when I could wander aimlessly among th' cold cuts & then only buy a 1/4 pound of chopped liver..." Both comic strips are identical except for the verbiage.
