Fanart of Birtie-Rae from Dino Mercs!
Pixel practice plus experimentation with "CRT" style editing.

When trying new mediums, try them with your faves!

Pixel portrait of a red t-rex woman with large mechanical arms. There is a glitchy-looking overlay on the piece to mimic video distortion.

Since I also drew Ephemerys fighting a Merc Killer last time, here's Birtie vs the Blood Sight Corps' Berserker! I figure it's a good duel since they're both brawlers. I imagine that the carchadontosaurus is like the villain parallel to Birtie-Rae.
Drawing of Birtie-Rae the t. rex from Dino Mercs, fighting the Carchadontosaurus Merc Killer boss. Her mecha arms grab the enemy's jaws and wind up for a punch while one of her natural t. rex arms holds a knife to the enemy's throat. The Merc Killer grabs Birtie's tail with one hand and raises their other paw up preparing to slash downward with bared claws. In the background, a rolling stormcloud is illuminated by a white bolt of lightning.

To be clear, Birtie-rae is my favorite (because OF COURSE the buff cyborg is my fave), but all the Dino Mercs have a special place in my heart. I imagine so many little interactions and banter between the team which makes them sort of a big wholesome found dino-family in my mind. 💜

While I DO plan on drawing Battery from Dino Mercs fighting a Merc Killer to go along with the rest of my fanart series, it's been so hot lately that it feels like I've pulled a full hand of Overheated cards!

#DinoMercs
Drawing of Battery, the anthro triceratops character from the indie game Dino Mercs. He has purple skin scarred to a gray color in places, and wears red body armor along with a purple vest and brown pouches. He is overlayed on top of a screenshot of the OVERHEATED card from the game, which typically debuffs the player's Strength and Speed. Understandably, Battery is a sweaty, exhausted mess, tongue out like a panting dog as the sun blazes behind him.

Don't sleep on Toxic Gas/Bleeding cards. It can be SO useful to play cards that hit HP directly while ignoring Shields and Armor. 👁️👁️

Been enjoying Dino Mercs a lot, and I finally got around to drawing some fanart for it!

Best girl Ephemerys vs a BEEFY diabloceratops Merc Killer.

#DinoMercs
Illustration of characters from Dino Mercs. A Utahraptor leaps from the left side of the picture, her claws extended. She wears a jumpsuit with black and white horizontal stripes. Her feathers are tan with light blue accents. The enemy Diabloceratops turns to face her, likely too late, his flamethrower raised. He has a light purple body with dark purple stripes and tan freckles. The horns on his crest and snout are black. Leg armor makes his lower body look even more wide. The background is a bunch of dark, puffy clouds with orange highlights, as though the scene takes place at dusk or sunrise. Pale white contrails, possibly from some distant air combat, streak in the distance.

I'm in awe at how powerful Battery is when he has Artillery Barrage in his deck. With his ability to double the effect of Support cards, it makes his max AIM increase by +60, which means his guns can do 100+ damage per turn in the 3x slot. My man's a tank AND a sharpshooter, it seems!

Battery is absurdly tanky. As a Support specialist, he makes the game almost too easy, but I can't help but love the guy! Big, strong, protector of the innocent. 💜
