Just got a notice that my DirectExpress benefits card will be deactivated May 31 and any remaining Social Security funds impounded. By whom? Doesn’t say. Notice from Comerica, not US government. 🤔

I'd transferred my SSI from the gvt-issued card to a bank, so I can't access it. I did call to request a letter to that effect and am still waiting. I re-sent all that I sent the first time(when I could access the directexpress acct). Waiting for them to post an eviction note on my door...
