I really never watched ESPN way back when I had DirectTV (12 years ago) so I can't justify subscribing to it. I always listened to AM670 The Score in Chicago.
Now I'm doomed to miss the best games but I can always go to a bar I guess, if I can convince these TX Homers to put on the Bears!

I guess the good news is I'll get a $17 settlement payment in 5 years when DirectTV gets hacked and settles a class action lawsuit for data mismanagement.
Today's installment of "everything is inconvenient and infuriating all the time" is: I was misled by DirectTV reps and accidentally signed up for business services, and even though I cancelled it a month ago, I'm still receiving bills (with $0 charge). So I have to call to delete my info.

Same. Is it some kind of insertion thing on streaming? I feel like ever since I cut the cord and went to DirectTv stream I see a lot of out of market political ads. Can’t be all national buys can it? Why would you waste that much on your coverage?

Cable: I had access to cable/DirectTV a few times but *other than sports* I never wanted to have to sit down when someone else decided I should, I would download the early streaming apps and watch at my discretion but I never got into channel surfing at all
