This is what I mean when I say the disasters that U.K. residents should be prepping for are more likely to be hostile actors. Ofc natural disasters are going to increase with climate change, but there will be much, much more of this type of stuff too.

Actually stupid that we get dumb disasters like tornadoes and hurricanes and not stuff like this
⚠️ IMPORTANT PSA ⚠️

I haven't seen anyone talk about this!! Health and safety experts are warning there's strong metaphysical data to indicate that at around 10:47 EST this evening (10/31) there will be a rogue spell pulse that will globally cause everyone to genetically fuse with their costumes

Policymakers benefit from politics' eternal *now*, in which disasters simply *befall* us, without any history or precedent or cause.

2026 vibe: i'm gonna have to channel the election commentary energy from when i was 10 years younger, several family and world disasters lighter, and on sabbatical. because this shit is insane.

Americans, vote. Seriously. Each vote is important. The whole world feels the consequences of your elections.

And vote wisely. I can assure you that populists promising magical solutions NEVER deliver miracles. They deliver disasters that everyone else gets to pay for.

Everyone's talking about what could go wrong-losing healthcare, climate disasters, Social Security cut, billionaires writing the rules…
But, the scariest outcome isn't that these threats exist-it's that we see them coming & just…don't vote.
We've got until Nov 3rd. VOTE - it feels good!

Damn. Had my kid but known that they could have been the Lusitania when obsessed with disasters on the high seas.
Shout out specifically to this kid who crossed my social media this morning on Facebook, who insisted upon being the Edmund Fitzgerald and his mom being the Gales of November.

I repeat: There is physically less oil (and refined products) available right now.

Transport routes are blocked. Wells shut-in. Stockpiles dwindling.

It’s not a corporate conspiracy. It’s the reality of relying so much on a fuel source that’s at the whims of wars, dictators, and natural disasters.

This week an oil rig sank, and another caught fire. I find it hard to believe that those who oppose wind farms on environmental concerns have totally ignored these environmental disasters.
