POST announced a reconstituted 23-member Public Safety Dispatch Advisory Council to advise on statewide dispatch priorities, training and wellness, and proposed an optional standardized modular format (two 80-hour modules) for the public safety dispatchers basic course with regulation updates and an April 1, 2027 effective date requested.
