Quebec independence probably wouldn't be great either, but Quebec is credibly a 'nation' in that there's clear linguistic and other divides, a clearly distinct identity etc. Albertan separatism is as far as I can tell just like resentment for it's own sake.

There's a huge DEM cluster f*ck on the horizon. It's going to bring out the absolute WORST in everyone & exacerbate both the generational, liberal/left & white/Black divides while the right spins it as proof DEMS can't govern. Given that we're this close to fascism we should prepare!
