I use a DLSS4 (Not 5) style of upscaling to fill out these packs so people can enjoy them early while I improve on them.
Heres a shot that contains the difference between a hand made texture and one that was upscaled.
It doesn't look bad but human made work will always shine through. #gameart

worst part of DLSS5 is that it makes the entirety of DLSS even worse than it already was. I already hated DLSS beforehand because it gave alot of devs excuses to not optimize their games performance, and now DLSS5 does what DLSS4 does, but ALSO makes shit look worse.

La boîte mentionne DLSS4 donc je sais pas si c'est compatible mais bon, entre ma stance sur l'IA et les résultats catastrophiques, en effet je laisserai désactivé si on m'en laisse le choix XD

The problem is that the Switch 2 is basically stuck with the less capable CNN model than the newer fancier Transformer model that was introduced in DLSS4.
That's why I wish the Switch 2's soc was like a hypothetical T259 than the T239 we got. REALLY would've punched above its weight way more.

This has to be some AI nerd's vanity project at nvidia. DLSS4(.5) is just better in every way. High(er) fidelity, retains artistic integrity, doesn't turn your GPU into a space heater, also actually IMPROVES performance

従来のフレーム生成技術と画面自体を上からフィルタリングしちゃうのを同列で処理して欲しくないんだよね……DLSS4を常に選択できるなら構わないけど

what sucks about dlss 5 is that dlss 3 was like black magic for some harder to run games. then they added framegen in dlss4 which sucked and now this. how can i stop people from throwing the baby out with the bathwater when the baby is evil now
