VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - Somewhere, someone may recognize a distinctive anchor tattoo, remember a familiar face, or know the name of a man whose identity has remained a mystery since his death in September 2026. Vancouver police are now appealing to the public for help identifying him after conventional investigative methods failed to provide answers. On September 7, 2026, an unidentified man was found in medical distress on a sidewalk near the intersection of Keefer and Columbia streets in Vancouver. He was transported to hospital for medical care but died four days later, on September 11.
