Happy February! Or "doguary" as I'm back to my 5min a day drawings with a focus of #dogs this time! Why? Because I'm partial to cats and never draw dogs 😅. Time to change that! Day 1 is a Welsh Corgi.

Two #dogs in one day for #doguary! This is the Bedlington Terrier. Aren't they adorable? Super cuddly and fluffy with no shedding, they make the perfect TV time cuddle companions! The American Kennel club also describes them as "frolicking" haha which to me seems apt.

They may seem intimidating, as one of the largest dog breeds, Irish Wolfhounds are affectionate, gentle, And great with kids. I remember seeing one every now and then in my old neighborhood in Ottawa and I was always blown away by their size! Day 7 of #doguary done!

#doguary day 23 continued with #dog number 17! Golden Retrievers are very bright; their working dog personalities make them great guides and search and rescue dogs as they will take their work seriously! And then they'll cuddle and play with you in their down time. 😉

Nearing the end of #Doguary! Day 26, #dog 19 is the German Pinscher, which is one of Germany's oldest dog breeds and bred to be rat catchers. They are agile, sleek and intelligent. They are also very active, so if you enjoy plenty of time outdoors GP's would be a great companion! #illustration #art

Happy #doguary day 24! #dog18 is the Saint Bernard! Breed in the Swiss & Italian alps for search and rescue, they are the poster dog for the term "gentle giant." Barry, a famous Saint Bernard who lived in the early 1800s, rescued more than 40 people in his lifetime! #sketchbook #illustration #art

Day 10 of #doguary (which was yesterday, oops!) is the Bull Terrier! These cuties are playful and endearing and very sweet to new people. They love playing games with balls and thrive on exercise! So perfect for energetic kids! They have the sweetest faces too!

Another gentle giant for day 11 of #doguary. This is a Bullmastiff, known for being affectionate and loyal! They are also on the quieter side and don't tend to bark a lot. These guys would make such great cuddle buddies!

Happy #doguary day 17! Today is the Siberian Husky. I have a personal connection to this breed, I grew up visiting an uncle who owned the sweetest #dog named Rex. Some of my favourite memories were playing soccer with Rex and then cuddling after we pooped each other out!

I'm a little behind posting #doguary; recovering from a stomach bug 🐛. Days 8 and 9 are the Pomeranian. These little #dogs are super lovey dovey, and have been called the ideal companion. I would have loved one when I was a kid, now I wonder if I can handle all their fur!

The other day's #dog for #doguary,was the West Highland Terrier (Westie) originated in Scotland. These friendly pups are very affectionate, and were bred as rat hunters, so they're very alert and will chase anything that moves! I just want to squish that face! #art #sketchbook #illustration

Days 5 and 6 of #doguary I'd the Chow Chow! Described as noble, distinguished, and not too overly friendly unless you are one of their people. I just love their squishy, furry, old-man-y faces!
