I just watched the truly excellent black & white movie, Impact (1949) (from the hip Talking Pictures TV) starring Brian Donlevy & Ella Raines amongst others.
Ella Raines was a real beauty 😍, & a superbly talented actress. Brian Donlevy was an exceptional actor too.
Highly recommended!

I just watched the truly excellent black & white movie, Impact (1949) (from the hip Talking Pictures TV) starring Brian Donlevy & Ella Raines amongst others.
Ella Raines was a real beauty 😍, & a superbly talented actress. Brian Donlevy was an exceptional actor too.
Highly recommended!

With the mystery films now over, having a little run of Quatermass movies.
The first one has a terrible performance from a clearly barely able to stand up Brian Donlevy (I don't get the reassessment of his sozzled prof in more recent years), but an amazing turn from Caroon.
