Lots of Common spotted orchids popping up in my #dontmow garden,as well as lots of other great wildflowers for the pollinators.

On #NationalMeadowsDay here is one of our biggest #dontmow verges. Absolutely packed with Common spotted orchids, Cat's ear, Red & White clover, Yellow rattle, Selfheal,meadow grasses & sedges.The alternative verge management across the road, dense grass! One late summer cut/lift

One of the roadside verges within Causeway coast & glens borough council #Dontmow areas, managed for wildflowers. No planting/sowing of seeds, all these were present & flourished with good management.Cut & baled off end of summer,job done. Hundreds of Common spotted orchids,clovers,Yellow rattle.

Proving just how valuable roadside verges are to wildlife, I spotted all of these on an amazing stretch of verge in Donegal. So many plant species supporting so many #butterflies Wall Browns, Cryptic wood white & Dingy skipper. #dontmow & definitely #dontspray
