Still thinking when I made a Doom map for a contest.
Tried to make something simple, then started adding some cheap trap, laughing in the process.
So many told me "OMG this map was amazing, best one" , I got 3rd place and I was in tear for the amount of praise ! <3

Thirty years ago today, on a Friday after classes, I rushed home to my off-campus apartment, logged into MSU's 14.4k dial-up modem bank, and hammered ftp.wustl.edu so I could download the shareware version of DOOM.
Hell of a weekend followed.

This DOOM anniversary, I decided to dedicate all my time into actual catching up with all the great WADs I've missed over the years!
And test out if my 30 year old DOOM floppies still work (they do).
