Sagittaria grabs a WOODEN TRAY from the ground and uses it to dirtboard her way down the slope.

EXT. DOOVA TOWN - THE BRIDGE - CONTINUOUS

Sagittaria reaches the base of the slope and leaps off of the tray. She runs across the bridge with the badly bruised clig right behind her.

SAGITTARIA
That’s it, step on the bridge you big dumb quack!

The clig bends its knees and LEAPS into the air. It lands at the other side of the bridge, hard enough to make the bridge TREMBLE under its immense weight.

The clig turns around in an instant, ROARS and SPRINTS after Sagittaria. She turns and flees back towards Doova Town, the clig rapidly closing in on her.

The scroops arrive, yelling for Sagittaria to run. She pushes herself to the limit, speeding up right as the bridge starts to CRACK, CRUNCH... and BREAK APART.

The clig falls down the ravine to its death, roaring until the moment it is silenced forever.

Sagittaria makes a final, desperate LEAP off of the bridge a moment before it’s too late. She hangs onto the final plank of the bridge that hasn’t fallen, struggling to pull herself up. The Whack hand has landed on solid ground, OUT OF HER REACH.

SAGITTARIA
No, no, no! Not like this, please not like this!

The final plank CRACKS and Sagittaria begins to fall... but only for an instant before she is suspended in place.

Sagittaria looks up, eyes widening when she sees what, or rather who, has saved her life. Rottway keeps a firm hold of her hand, pulling with all of his might to gradually haul Sagittaria to safety.

After taking several deep, shaky breathes Sagittaria takes in the scene before herself. The entirety of Doova Clan are staring at her... but the earlier scorn is GONE, replaced by WONDER and AWE.
