Happy Dorset day folks! The feast day of St Wite, patron saint of Dorset, a Saxon Holy woman who died around 831AD. Her shrine in the Church of St Candida and Holy Cross at Whitchurch Canonicorum escaped desecration during the 16th century Reformation. #Dorset #DorsetDay
