A suspect was in custody following a double shooting Sunday morning in Dearborn Heights, police said on social media Sunday. The shooting took place on the 4100 block of Weddell Street on the city's south side, where police responded to reports around 10:30 a.m. that gunshots were being fired. Police found that a man and woman had been shot, allegedly by the woman's ex-boyfriend, according to police. The suspect fled the scene in a white Ford F-150, according to police. At 4:15 p.m., Dearborn Heights police posted on its Facebook page that the suspect was in custody.
