Doug Collins says VA workers who don’t love vets should “find another job.” Funny, I don’t recall veterans asking for a 15% staff cut, closed crisis lines, or to be rerouted to private care. We asked for care, not corporate models. Don’t dress austerity in patriotism.

My office has received many calls from veterans worried they will be denied care by the Department of Veterans Affairs because of their political affiliation or marital status. I call on Secretary Doug Collins to provide a full briefing to Congress and release all relevant documents to the public.

I’m a veteran currently suffering from debilitating arthritis that is destroying my quality of life. I begged to see a rheumatologist at the VA and the soonest they can get me in is October 14th. They should be HIRING.

Wait times for everything are months. One of the Albuquerque VA primary care doctors has 900 patients waiting. It is going to take him a year to see them all. Doug Collins is doing a really good job of destroying our healthcare.
