Hubby and I went to #dowgardens for a lovely nature date a month ago, and it was honestly such an amazing place. There are so many beautiful flowers and trees and architecture. We will definitely be going back.

a fall wedding at #DowGardens, under a willow tree? 🍂
This is going to be beautiful.

Here are some favorites from one of the last weddings I photographed & also possibly my first portrait-related post to hit Bluesky?

A couple recesses hand-in-hand out of their backyard wedding ceremony. Trees line the background. The couple is smiling at each other, and the bride holds a bouquet of brightly colored flowers in her other hand. A wedding photo of a couple standing face-to-face in a field of sunflowers. The sunflowers are slightly blurred as the couple holds hands and touches their foreheads together with their eyes closed. A black and white, slightly blurred image of a bride walking up to her groom. He is holding her hand as she looks down, and her bouquet is blurred as she swings her arm. A bride and groom sit on the grass, their dog between them. The dog and groom both face the camera while the bride smiles down at the dog. The dog is in a wedding vest, and the bride is holding a brightly colored bouquet.

I rushed by Ballyhoo Books & Brew in Alma on my way to My Library Shelf Bookstore in Coleman before they closed. Finally I visited Bookmarks in Midland before spending the rest of my afternoon at the Dow Botanic Gardens

Literally the only thing that makes a wedding even cooler is when DINOSAURS are there!!! 🦕🦖

Stay until the end for a special guest appearance - and we’re not just talking about the bride and groom!

Congrats, Kirsten & Jeff! 💙
